Introducing Our New Partner Organizations
Ashton Testing Services loves connecting with educational institutions, government organizations, professional associations and certification companies. We are proud to announce our three new partner organizations: Canadian Midwifery Regulators Council, Insurance Brokers Association of British Columbia and Pacific Rim Early Childhood Institute. We are excited to partner with each of these organizations, building upon our growing community around the globe. What do our new partnerships mean for you? We are expanding our services and offering additional exams throughout the week. From September 2020 onward, Pacific Rim Early Childhood Institute and Insurance Brokers Association of British Columbia will each be holding their exams at our facility every Tuesday of the week. The Canadian Midwifery Regulators Council also has exam bookings available in October 2020. You can learn more about our three new partner organizations below:

Canadian Midwifery Regulators Council

CMRC is a network of provincial and territorial regulatory authorities in Canada. Collectively, they regulate the profession of midwifery, setting and maintaining high standards of practice and ensuring regulatory harmony across the country. The council sets and administers the Canadian Midwifery Registration Exam twice each year. This comprehensive exam is designed to assess applicants for midwifery registration to ensure they meet the standards set out in the Canadian Competencies for Midwives. The goal of the exam is to ensure that registered midwives provide a consistent standard of care across Canada.

Insurance Brokers Association of British Columbia

IBABC is the primary provider of pre-licensing and continuing professional education for general insurance brokers in BC, and the primary examiner for pre-licensing and licensing courses. For those starting their careers in the Insurance Industry successful completion of the Fundamentals of Insurance course (or the CAIB 1 course) AND the Council Rules Course will qualify them for a Level 1 General Insurance Salesperson's License in British Columbia. This includes the ability to sell ICBC’s Auto plan.

Pacific Rim Early Childhood Institute

PRECI is Recognized Early Childhood Training Institution in the province of British Columbia. The Ministry of Children and Family Development Early Childhood Education Registry issues the provincial certification in British Columbia. The registry offers a Basic Early Childhood Educator Certificate. Their program provides training for individuals to work in licensed facilities that care for children from the ages of three to five. The program consists of eight courses and three practicums. Areas covered include health, safety, nutrition, growth and development. Also included are foundations in early childhood education, developmentally appropriate curriculum and interpersonal communication. Through the practicums, students learn how theory studied in the courses relates to their individual practice as early childhood educators.
