  • Where is Ashton Testing Services located?

    410 – 1190 Melville Street, Vancouver, BC – corner of Melville and Bute.

  • Where can I park?

    Our Vancouver centre is close to two public parking facilities. There’s also ample street parking that you can use.

  • How do I book a proctored exam?

    We only accept credit cards – Visa and Mastercard.

  • Can I pay at the centre?

    Not at the moment. Please make all payments via our website.

  • What do I need to bring with me on the day of the test?

    A valid government-issued ID that has your photograph and signature on it. Please also check with your examining body for any other requirements.

  • What are the acceptable forms of photo identification?

    Government-issued IDs such as passport, driver’s license, state/provincial IDs, and so on.

  • Can I bring my own writing materials?

    We provide all the materials for your exam, including calculators. However, you may bring your own calculator if your testing agency, university or college approves it.

  • Can special arrangements be made for candidates with disabilities?

    Yes, please give us a notice of at least two weeks to confirm availability of space.

  • How much does it cost to book a proctored exam?

    We charge a flat fee of $65 for exams that are one to three hours in length and $15 for every additional hour after that.

  • Can I change/reschedule my booking date?

    Yes, but there is a $20 rescheduling fee that can be paid online. Please email the centre coordinator at testcentre@ashtontesting.ca for more information regarding availability of dates.

  • Can I cancel my booking?

    All examination fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • What is the refund policy in case of a cancellation?

    All examination fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • When do I need to arrive for my exam?

    Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of your exam to keep a buffer for delays, if any. If you are late, you may not be allowed to start the assessment and might need to schedule another appointment.

  • Can I store my personal belongings at the centre?

    Yes, we provide secure lockers and locks for small items and backpacks. However, over-sized baggage is not allowed.

  • Can I bring water, food, snacks into the test centre?

    You can bring these items to the test centre, but you will not be allowed to take them inside the secure testing area. You may leave them at the reception.

  • Can I bring my laptop/cell phone to the centre?

    Yes, but not inside the secure testing area. You can store your personal belongings in the locker.
